Amazon sets PS Vita ship date as March 31st, 2012

If you’ve preordered a PS Vita from Amazon, then you’ve received an email telling you that the ship date for the new handheld has changed. The date, formerly December 2011, is now set to be March 31st of next year.

While not as concrete as Sony coming out and saying it, it’s worth noting that Gamestop has also changed the ship date of the device, also for March 31st, 2012.

We already knew that the Vita would be released in Japan on December 17th, and Sony was aiming for early 2012 as a release window in North America and Europe. Is this “early” enough, or does looking at that date make you all fidgety with impatience?

  1. This is Bullinus Sh*ttinus. Missing the holiday window and launching the month of ME3 is a really dumb decision.

    • this isnt a cofirmation
this just means amazon and others expect their stock to arrive at the latest to march
