Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood to have 15-hour single-player campaign

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, the franchise’s third entry, might strike some as premature. Releasing just one year after Assassin’s Creed 2, the studio has admitted that much of Brotherhood’s content has been left over from its second game. However, Brotherhood will not be light on content, sporting a 15-hour campaign starring Ezio on the streets and roofs of Rome.

Although Brotherhood will bring multiplayer to the series for the first time, a single-player experience will still very much be central to the game. A fact sheet released on the game reveals that most players should be able to enjoy over 15 hours of single-player goodness, with much of the action set in the city of Rome.

As for the game’s multiplayer, players are able to join the other-side by helping the Templars eliminate the Assassins once and for all. Choosing from a wide range of characters, weapons and assassination techniques, players can fight against other players online in a number of differing game modes.

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood releases for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC this holiday. Find the game’s PS3 box art below.

“players are able to join the other-side by helping the Telmplars eliminate the Assassins once and for all”

Patrick you spelled ” Templars” Wrong

Also 15 hours is a great deal of playtime in today’s generation, in the past games used to span over 20 hours, now the average is 5-10 hours. so its good to hear that assassins creed: Brotherhood is going to be lengthy

  6. I think its a mistake. ubisoft should have made botherhood DLC for AC2, and released AC3 after 2 years, I hope this game doesn’t disappoint in terms of content or get repetitive.

  7. they usualy say big numbers, and then it ends up being much less
so im guesing its going to be 8 to 10 h

  8. Wow, now I have to say that this whole situation is garbage and reminds me of LFD2. I personally feel that any game that only takes a few months to make will be mediocre at best.

The reason why I say this will only take them a few months to make is because AC2 launched last November and is expected to launch this Nov/Dec from how it sounds. This means it’ll take them about 6-8 months top to develop the whole game and the rest of the time will be used testing for bugs and such (unless the game gets pushed back drastically).

Yes I know they said much of the material are left overs from AC2, but that makes it just that much worst. It means they could sell it as DLC. Hell even selling the leftovers as DLC offends me because it would’ve been in the game if MS decided to make the 360 games run on Blu-Ray instead of DVDs, but I digress.

Games that take less than a year to fully develop are guarantee to have the quality and overall game experience equivalent to DLC.

They’re milking the momentum AC2 received by crapping out a mediocre sequel instead of taking it to the next level. In a nutshell, this game won’t be worth $60. I suggest renting or waiting for a price drop if you’re really into the thought of this game.
