Ronimo Games has announced it will release 2D platform combat title Awesomenauts across the PlayStation Network, as well as Xbox Live, in February of next year.

“Though we understand that fans may initially feel disappointed that the game will not be released before the end of the year, we will make sure to use the extra time available to us to polish Awesomenauts even further,” said studio founder Jasper Koning.

The Utrecht-based studio has also released a new, 21-minute gameplay video of a full Awesomenauts match, which offers a better insight as to how the game works. Check that out below.
