The next Call of Duty game will be titled Black Ops and is in development at Activision’s Treyarch studio. “We at Treyarch are excited to reveal our latest development – Call of Duty: Black Ops!”

The title will be revealed in this Friday’s Gametrailer’s TV on Spike with a debut teaser trailer. Call of Duty: Black Ops will release on 9 November 2010. More details as they come.

  1. Cool, another CoD game. Just what we needed even though we all knew this. Might see what they do, but highly doubt I will jump on board.

  2. So the media hype begins on another anti-climactic COD game, count me out.

  3. i am not going to overhype cod7 but i will still buy it because they said they cill correct all of the problems form mw2. GO TREYARCH!

  4. Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m so excited for this game!!!! There hasn’t been a shooting game released in a long time!!!! Not to mention its a military style game!!!! Even better that its a Call of Duty game!!!!

Make sure your sarcasm detector is on.

  5. I rather wait for Medal Of Honour.

Hope its good, Mw2 is piece of garbage. Treyarch has a good costumer service, unlike InfinityWard.

  7. Whoop whoop another cod game…I won`t be buying it after the last debacle.

twice bitten and all that cod is a no no for me now

  8. I always liked Treyarch….even if they work for Activision aka THE DEVIL. And MORE ZOMBIES!! If there isn’t a zombie mode then I wont pick this up.

if infinity ward is working on medal of honor i dont want it

  12. omg this is just terrible, let Activision try and fail…teach them a lesson and boycott this piece of crap (probably wont be but still!)

and uhh yeah, the debut trailer looks REALLY mediocre as well

  13. i really dont know whether i will get this. need to see gameplay to see if they have actually bothered to make a new game and not just copied and pasted cod5 and 6

  14. good trailer, but very less informative feels like screen shots going at 30fps. it will be interesting to see how Treyarch modern setting. but need more convincing from ACtivision getting me into buying this.

  15. I think this is good although if it does copy the idea of assasins creed going back in time and constantly stopping and switching eras will be hard to actual see it as a decent game would just be annoying. They should deffinately have some sort of zombie mode or something but maybe also try and create new typed of multiplayer modes? I mean the others are great but nearly all modes are on nearly all of the COD series now and it getting a bit old tbh.
