Expect FFV13 Media blowout early next year

7 Comments | posted

Continuing on the path of sweet information, the most recent issue of Famitsu confirms that Final Fantasy Versus XIII will receive a large media blowout come the beginning of next year. As most of you know, Final Fantasy XIII is scheduled for release in Japan this upcoming December 17, 2009. Thus, it only makes sense that Square is waiting for that installment of the Fabula Nova Crystallis to hit retail shelves before divulging more information on its parallel universe.

According to Nomura, he wants to go live with the details a lot sooner, but the team behind the project is holding back in order to increase the product quality of the title. This should be pleasing to PlayStation fans considering the exclusivity of the title and the fact we’d like it to be the best game possible.

There won’t be any information thrown out there in Tokyo this week in regards to the title, so it looks like the wait is just around the corner after CES 2010.

    Sounds pretty exciting.

I hope that new information won’t be xbox related.

You should create rumor section so it is easly to navigate, and visit older articles as times goes by. Like “Uncovering three of the unannounced titles at TGS ’09″

ANDY?! WHY DO THAT?! OH, PLEASE, SQUAREENIX! MICROSOFT’S MONEY IS BAD! IT IS … CURSED! I have proof. And stuffs.

I’ looking forward to this more than FFXIII, I’m sad to say *cough*exclusive*cough*.

ALTHOUGH I’m still under the impression that the 360 will have a different version of FFXIII to the PS3 judging from the screenshots, yes? Or did the multiplat jump actually make them downscale it?
