Sometimes things end up slipping through the cracks that may be intentional or not. However, considering how far out Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is from release, it’s hard to imagine that the final code has already been established and that the game is 100% reviewable at this point. Despite that skepticism, the pre-order box art for the title at GameStop contains a review score on the back that is not exactly surprising in the sense of the score given, but that is surprising because of the fact a review has already been given with over a month to go from release.
GameInformer, a pretty well respected publication, has already given BF:BC2 a 9.5/10 if the back of the box is to be believed. While this should build even more anticipation for the upcoming title, it begs to question the validity of the review and the authenticity of the score.
We’d love to know if you guys think this review score is manufactured or if you believe it was more than likely deserving?
some times gameinformer reviews are whack so idk
sould i get this game or should i get bioshock 2 idk
The beta was awesome. Can’t wait to pick this game up
Wish I could read it. =/
we’ll see in the upcoming issue
I work in the testing industry… You’d be surprised how long before a release date that most titles are “done”… They just have to pass company certifications.
I assume if reviewers can get half the clearance low-level testers can get… Then this is in fact legit.
a 9.5? not bad….the demo wasnt all that great tho :\
my friend gave it an 8-8.5 (on the demo of course)
hmm good score, hope its not just hype
A 9.5 out of 10 is a great score. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is a great game and it will definitely be one of the best FPS games released this year.
