Free Skyrim companion app coming soon to iOS and Android

You’ve probably already noticed, but The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a big-ass game. It’s not uncommon to have over a dozen active quests at any given time, and it’s easy to lose track of things. Thankfully, a small developer has taken matters into their own hands and is working on an interactive map for your mobile device to help keep your game sorted.

Called Dragon Shout, the app will roll out first on iOS with a planned Android release to come later. Initially, the unofficial app will allow you to plot the locations of items you may have dropped because they were too heavy, important ingredients for potions, and create journal entries. You’ll also be able to create an account that allows you to access your personalized map from any device, and there are later plans to be able to share your markers and journals with friends.

It’s a neat idea, and the price is certainly right. Anyone else looking forward to this?
