Yes, yes we know it isn’t out everywhere, but God of War III launched today in the US and midnight events around the country brought out the passionate Kratos fans who couldn’t wait to get their hands on the Ghost of Sparta’s latest and last outing. Oh and Kratos turned up to a GameStop event, hurling consumers around as they attempted to pick up copies.
So if you’re lucky enough to live in the States (God of War III will reach Europe on March 18th and the UK March 19th) have you got your hands on a copy? The game is holding onto an exceptional 93/100 score on Metacritic. So if you haven’t gone out to buy the game, why the devil not? Kratos lost some weight …
Well I don’t live in the US but I somehow managed to find a copy in Canada! :p
Picked up the Ultimate Edition early this afternoon. Played it a bit, very very awesome! I’m glad I limited myself on a lot of footage shown for the game since the intro was a total and mindblowing surprise for me.
I would love to be thrown by Kratos.
Anyways, I’ll get this game eventually.

I’m about 3 hours into the game. I stopped playing just now to take a short break and surf the net a bit, but I guess the word to describe it so far would be “intense”. Holy hell.
I don’t have it yet…. I’m borrowing from a friend ONCE he is finished with the campaign, then It would be my turn to play as the almighty Kratos!
I’m getting it this week, I’ve been buying alot of games in March….
Yea I got it at midnight and holy hell this game is fucking perfect. Amazing gameplay, amazing story, amazing graphics, and there are puzzles and some of them made me actually think a little. There is nothing missing from this game, it is a masterpeice. Not finished but so far I have found nothing wrong with it, a perfect 10/10.
The custom skin pre-order code I got from GameStop isn’t working when I try to redeem it… Is this another Heavy Rain or AvP style situation, where they promise us DLC at launch but ultimately delay the hell out of it?!

You have to redeem it here: http://godofwar.com/skins It’ll then ask you to log in to your PSN account then whatever email address associated with that account should receive the actual code which you can redeem on the PS3 for the Phantom of Chaos skin. I’ve yet to receive the email so I don’t know how long it takes for them to be sent out.
It’s a well known fact that Kratos only tans his legs. LOL
no money to get it straight away but hopefully see it round my mates and pick it up eventually. Does look epic
