Gravity Rush to drop on June 12th in North America

Originally planned as a “launch window” title for the PS Vita in North America, Gravity Rush was pushed back several months. Now we finally have a release date, firmly set as June 12th. The game released to critical acclaim in Japan on February 9th, where it’s known as Gravity Daze.

Sony also released a new trailer along with the release date, which you can check out below:

Gravity Rush has a stunning cel-shaded aesthetic and incorporates Vita features such as the dual analog sticks, the front touchscreen, and motion control. If the reviews for the Japanese release are to be believed, then it incorporates them well.

I refuse to call it “Rush”. It will forever be Gravity Daze to me. Still my 2nd most anticipated confirmed game of 2012 besides ME3.
