Hulu Plus opens up for everyone next week

4 Comments | posted

Earlier this year, Hulu released its Hulu Plus service to select PlayStation Plus subscribers on a trial basis to get a better feel for the PlayStation Network demographic and how things would pan out. While some were disappointed by the exclusivity of this, many are still anticipating its full scale release to the general public. Fortunately for those of you waiting, Hulu Plus officially becomes available across the entire PlayStation Network starting next week.

The Hulu Plus subscription service provides a ton of up-to-date episodes for television shows currently running on major broadcasting channels. When you combine what Hulu has to offer with Netflix and Sony’s already extensive collection of movies and television shows, you have the most video-based content available on any one console in the industry.

While there hasn’t been any more specific details listed, the Official PlayStation Blog does reveal that more information is coming next week. We’ll update you guys with that info when it drops.

If not for live sports, I’d just cancel my cable and go with this

I’ve stopped watching television a long time ago. I listen to all my favorite live sports on the radio.

Is this only for the U.S. or is Canada included?
