Following the success of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, both critically and commercially, it’s almost a certainty that a third iteration is on the way from Naughty Dog. That’s a stance Nathan Drake’s voice, Nolan North, takes in his latest interview. And there’s a lot of ‘nudge nudge, wink wink, you know what I mean’ going on, to say the least.
[Spoiler]. Uncharted 3: Chloe’s Revenge. She’s got to be a little peeved that she didn’t get a bit of Nathan Drake at the end of the day. Oh, spoilers. Should have said that at the beginning. Uncharted 2 has been winning awards left right and centre, and is rightly considered one of the PlayStation 3′s best games. So when it comes to the question of whether Naughty Dog is working on Uncharted 3, the voice of Nathan Drake, Nolan North, thinks it’s common sense. In an interview with our friends over at PlayStationChat, North replied to the question “Are you, or are you not working on Uncharted 3?” with:
“I’m not supposed to talk about that. I’ve been told I can’t say one way or another. But I will ask a question back: Do you think it would be financially responsible of Sony to not make a third game that has made hundreds of millions of dollars for their company?
“You’ve just got to use your common sense. What do you think? I’m not supposed to say one way or the other. I would encourage everyone to tap into their common sense.”
That’s a hell of a hint there Mr North, but we promise not to take your words out of context. At the end of the podcast PlayStationChat’s host Ben tells Nolan, “We may talk again when Sony makes a certain financially logical decision,” to which he wryly replies:
“I’m sure if we all used our common sense, I’m sure that decision from Sony will be very, very soon. Not that I would know anyway. I would think that we would just have to hope that our senses are finely tuned into how the industry works. Not that I’m saying anything one way or the other. You should understand that… You should all think about what would be sound decisions [laughs].”
Hm, hmmm… Well we’re going to use our common sense and assume that the decision to make Uncharted 3 has already been made by both Sony and Naughty Dog. We’ll also presume that the team has already started work on the game. In fact, we’d presume that the team started brainstorming the game before they completed development on Uncharted 2. The question is, will we ever see Jak on the PlayStation 3?

if they can keep progressing more in each game then gd they are making more. if its going to become milked and stale then try a new ip which is still exclusive
i dont think theres anything wrong with uncharted 2′s multi-player i switch over from modern warefare 2 to uncharted 2 and i love both of the games multi-player.

Naughty Dog hit it big with Uncharted 2: Among Thieves! They kept getting awards non-stop! If the Uncharted series was what was keeping them going, why stop now? Steve Jobs said he wasn’t gonna make another iPhone, now he came out with four different iPhones. Naughty Dog might come out with a new Uncharted… besides, I think Uncharted is one of the best games I’ve ever played.
i sure as heck hope the title is “chloe’s revenge”. that sounds like a crappy teen drama title. I’d rather have like a Eye of Indra kinda short game that you could download off of the ps store before that. that’d actually be pretty fun fighting with eddy and rika

Why the hell is it taking so long for the E3 trailer to come out?! Nolan North said that they were going to make a Uncharted 3 and they would start production in 2010. Yes, I f***ing know that video games take a lot of hard work and time to make. But still, make the trailer, so we can all know what the title is going to be!
Just hope the title isn’t “Chloe’s Revenge”, that kind’a gives the game a crappy plot. Uncharted 2 had a great sub-title. “Among Thieves”, it gets you going of not what you’re not expecting of Nate, thinking that he’s a thief.
We’ve seen “jungle” terrain in “Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune”, we’ve then seen “snow and mountains” terrain in the second game. I think its time to set it up in the “desert”. It would be really cool to see Nate tomb robbing and go through some more catacomb type sequences. Nate and Elena could be having a relationship and they would be on vacation together, until Nate runs into an old friend. After meeting with an old friend, he tells Nate that he found an old artifact to a huge treasure hunt that would be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. And the antagonist could be an antiquities dealer and he’s after what Drake’s after… I don’t know, I’m no Steven Speilberg.
But think about, Nate could be dragged into some more “warzones” up at the Middle-East, some sand dunes. possibly Naughty Dog could let Nate drive some off-terrain vehicles. Maybe Nate will be able to get some more and advanced weapons.
I have played uncharted 1 and uncharted 2 many times and i still love it.I have never played jak.I am waiting for uncharted 4 and not uncharted 3,because it is
already released for me.
Listen, if Sony might not make another Uncharted, since their like the #1 money-maker in the world with the coolest sh** that they produce and sell. I find that bull sh**! I say, “Sony, get your lazy a** up and make another Uncharted, or I’ll get Naughty Dog to kick your corporate a**!” I mean honestly, there’s no need for them to not make another Uncharted. To be honest with you, I’m a huge Uncharted fan. I’d be excited if they made another Uncharted.
I mean, “they’re”, I said, “their” in the first sentence.
If any body is agreeing with my comments, try to email Naughty Dog and try to start an online riot and protest another Uncharted to come out.
They are going to make one,but I am thinking it will be later than sooner. I recently bought uncharted 1, but al ready beat two I am going to get it. I would love this to be a movie I think it would rock.
