As expected, the NPD Group has released its monthly sales figures for the gaming industry. To no surprise, BioWare’s highly anticipated title, Mass Effect 2, stole the show in terms of new software and Sony’s exclusive, M.A.G., didn’t do half bad for a new IP either. Of course, when it comes down to hardware, there is no company coming that close to the Nintendo Wii, but Microsoft and Sony continue to do battle for second place in market share in what has been a tight race thus far.
