I’ll await the judgement of the community before I hail this patch as the solution to the freezing and glitching. If they give the green light I’ll buy the game… (at least one person in the official NV forum says it didn’t help much on that issue, but let’s wait for the others to chime in.) - Bethesda is working fast to patch Fallout: New Vegas
They never patched the horrible freezing and glitching in Fallout 3, nor acknowledged it. And that’s the worst problem in New Vegas right now too, people are not amused.The current PC patch to New Vegas do not address the these problems, but rather “quest and scripting issues” (according to their own blog), and they say “We’re also working hard to make this update available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 [...]“.
“This update”, in other words the coming patch will not address the worst bugs. I won’t buy the game until the freezing is patched. I hate this because I love the Fallout games.

and made constant price cuts and dident earn a single buck of the ps3 all up until now
i gues its safe to say that despite the ps3s price you were getting a loot more than what you payed for
for the original ps3 buyers it ewen profit for 200$+
i like the thought that there are some companies out there that dont feel like filling their greedy pockets with my money

That’s good to hear. Now that Sony’s not struggling with that they can do even more for the system now. I’m looking forward to seeing what all they are going to do now.
software and hardware sales are rising, there is no need for next-gen when Ps3 games are still good at the moment. The 10 years cycle looks promising to me.
good sony deserve this and with the subscription on PSN they would hope to recover their losses which they made early in PS3 life cycle.
