I’m not too sure how I feel about this, but the Official PlayStation Magazine in Europe is running a story in this month’s issue that confirms the addition of multiplayer in the upcoming Batman title. Batman: Arkham City is the sequel to the surprisingly hit original, Batman: Arkham Asylum, which released last year.
Developed by Rocksteady, Arkham City is scheduled to contain a myriad of Batman favorites and despite not being confirmed, many expect Catwoman and Nightwing to be included.
“Multiplayer is a certainty, but no details on this yet.”
Though the magazine couldn’t be any more vague, it’s going to have to do for now. Without much else to say, let us know your thoughts below.
Hopefully it’s co-op and not any kind of competitive multiplayer.
Well that doesn’t sound to good… wonder what it could possibly be. Developers don’t ever understand that almost nobody plays their multiplayer add ons to SP focused games.
It better be a co-op mode because slapping competitive multiplayer to extend a game’s life on every game is getting really annoying. I’m worried that the game may be short.
Most likely its a co-op. A competitive multiplayer won’t work for this type of game. But I’m looking foward to this game the first one was one of the best games i’ve played this gen so far
