Some unexpected news for those who have multi-regional PSN ID’s: it seems the Vita will only support one account per handheld. This was reported by NeoGAF member medhi_san who attended a hands-on PS Vita event in Japan. He received a catalog with a FAQ section at the end of it stating that in order to use different accounts, you’ll have to “format the system to factory settings”.
If this proves to be true, there will essentially be no known way to take advantage of region-exclusive offers by simply switching separate regional accounts like you would on your PS3. This also means the lack of separate accounts for friends and family who might want to share the device.
This news may be a bit unsettling, but at least they haven’t ruled out the possibility of attaching a candy dispenser to the device. (Make it happen, Sony.)

I find that with every article that comes out on the Vita, I like it less and less. I’ll pick it up in 2013 when a better/cheaper version releases.
