Skate 3 demo set for April

A little over a week ago, we announced that EA’s upcoming sequel in the Skate franchise was slated to release on May 11th. While the news was met more with concern than interest due to the yearly releases potentially milking the franchise, gamers are now going to get a chance to check out Skate 3 to see if improvements are being made or if the series is going the way of the Hawk.

During PAX East this past week, the Skate 3 booth was handing out promotional stickers to all of those passing by. However, the cool thing about them wasn’t that you could now brand yourself with a sticker, but that on the back of them it revealed a demo was coming on April 15th to the PlayStation Network.

This isn’t too shocking since both Skate and Skate 2 offered a demo prior to release as well, it’s good to know that gamers can get their hands on the demo almost up to a full month before release — giving them ample time to make a purchase decision.

Oh cool, April is here in a few days, I’ll try the demo, Skate 2 was kinda a let down for me, I liked Skate 1 better, for some reason.

  4. never played any due to not being a fan so may try the demo bt wont be purchasing it either. I think its gd though that they give plenty of time for people to try the game before its released and not after its been released..
