LittleBigPlanet developer, Media Molecule, has officially been acquired by Sony Computer Entertainment for an undisclosed amount. In the publisher’s efforts to secure studios looking to deliver unique experiences to its console owners, bringing MM inside the PlayStation family fully is yet another step in that direction.
Shuhei Yoshida, SCE Worldwide Studios President, is more than thrilled by this decision and looks forward to moving forward with Media Molecule as part of the first-party team.

This is great news for Sony and owners of the PlayStation 3. I can’t wait to see what else this duo brings forth this generation.
