Man Furismo Jive. It’s all the rage in the future, tearing its way through living rooms as it takes over PS3 gamer’s lives. It’s the game that’s been on its way for what feels like forever, but soon we’ll be blessed. Polyphony Digital’s game could be out before the snow hits the ground.
Hell, it’s the release period we imagined, but with LittleBigPlanet 2 scheduled for Winter 2010, it’s good to hear that Gran Turismo 5 could be out before. Where did we hear this little nugget? None other than Sony Computer Entertainment Europe president Andrew House. He responded to the PlayStation Forum question “which game is going to be the ‘big one’ after GT5?”
“I think we have a fantastic line-up of games coming out later this year and into 2011. We have just announced LittleBigPlanet 2, which is very exciting. The original game changed the way developers now look at developing games and the things Media Molecule has done with the sequel are truly incredible. I can’t wait for LBP2 to come out and can promise you that it will be great.”
Of course, House most likely couldn’t talk about a game other than LittleBigPlanet 2, since it’s the only newly announced game (apart from Killzone 3 most recently). Though we’d doubt House would be stupid enough to answer a question on what’s coming after GT5 with a game that’s releasing before.
When asked whether Gran Turismo 5 was just a myth, House adds:
“Absolutely not. It’s looking amazing and will be out soon.”
Maybe it’s auto-immune. Wait, wrong show.
On the contrary, Moocows, sales figures bring me extreme fun and enjoyment that sometimes borders on the pathological………..
@tom ato I think your the first person to actually trash Halo 3 sales 10 million is embarrassing? well what about Killzone2? it got outsold by ODST in 24 hours LMAO and it was a spin off game! just shows you how much people care for that game. And the PS2 sold like hot cakes so of course GT3 sold loads look at GT5P it sold 5 million. If the 360 had roughly the same amount of consoles sold as the PS2 Halo 3 probably would of sold about 15M too not bad for a second rate FPS eh? which by the way is one of the highest reviewed FPS ever so i don’t know what makes you say that wonder why people call games a Halo killer? dam all the posts you made here spew out so much ignorant fanboy crap i feel sorry for you. And you do know the PS3′s highest selling game is MW2 a multiplat? while the 360′s is Halo 3. Face it Sony isn’t doing as well as it did last generation the PS2 days are over get with the times.

thats because theres not much choice on xbox which is why certain games get most of the attention.
on ps3 theres a wide range of choice of very good games of which most are exclusive.
Teh Salez – MW2 on 360 outsold Halo 3 you simpleton. I think you should spend less time feeling sorry for others and spend a little more time worrying about the fact that your small, ignorant fanboy brain can’t comprehend that 12 million (MW 2 LTD sales on 360) is more than 10 million.
Oh yeah and since you wanted to mention how Sony “Aren’t doing as well as they did last generation” then why don’t you explain why the PS3 has outsold the Xbox 360 every single month since September 2009? Get with the times kid, Halo isn’t helping the 360 anymore, it’s only hindering it. People are realising that Halo is all the 360 has and one second – rate FPS doesn’t justify the purchase of a console.
