According to Top Cow sales and marketing director Atom! Freeman, fans of the comic-book based game The Darkness now have new hope for a sequel as Top Cow is focused on clearing up rights issues for development on The Darkness 2 to commence.
“There are certain rights issues that we needed to clear up in order to move ahead with The Darkness 2. Those are getting cleared up. While there are no specific plans, it is definitely that is still on all of our minds,” Freeman said.
“We loved the game. The fans loved the game. There’s no reason to not do another one. Just making sure that all of our ducks are in a row so that we can begin that process.”
It’s been well over three years since The Darkness was released. I, myself am a fan of the first game and am interested in seeing what developers could do with the sequel.

About damn time, I LOVED the first one. All I would like is for them to make it exactly like the first, if they do that it will defiantly be a day one for me.
Yeah. It will be nice to see where the developers take the game with modern day enhancements.

Everyone in the game can get killed. Jackie can choose to be nice or kill everyone.
i really liked the first,they need to change the loading cut scenes,they repeated to often,and the voice acting was so bad,but god damn the graphics and gameplay was awesome.
