Update: Under Siege approved by Sony, release date announced soon + new screenshots

Update: Seed Studios will be announcing the worldwide release date Monday, April 18. Check the official Under Siege Facebook page for more details.

Original Story: I know many of you are excited for Under Siege. It’s developed by a great team from Portugal called Seed Studios, where the core focus is bringing a delightful, visually enticing, and affordable (only $19.99) real time strategy title exclusively to the PlayStation Network.

Today, Seed Studios released over 20 new screenshots for Under Siege as well as giving an update about game’s final release date.

“Under Siege has been approved from Sony, and we are going to announce the final launch dates,” said Seed Studios producer Filipe Pina. “We are just reorganizing everything again to kick start a sweet launch campaign. This time there is no turning back.”

Outside of supporting a full single-player campaign, online and co-op local multiplayer, Under Siege features well mapped controls to the Dualshock and Move controller, as well as an entire map editor. Downloadable content and further developer support for the title will depend on the community.

  1. If you look at the Facebook page, they are going to announce the release dates on Monday April 18th. That is not the release date of the game itself.

Yeah, sorry about that. Miscommunication. I’m looking forward to finally getting a release date for this game. It looks great!
