While anticipation grows for Betheda’s upcoming massive open world title Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, many fans have sought to replay the adventures of Oblivion, questing to recall some of Tamriel’s ancient lore and prepare themselves for what is surely to be countless hours of dungeon exploring and dragon slaying in Skyrim.
For the collector types out there, Bethesda has announced a spectacular 5th Anniversary Edition of Oblivion for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, with speculation of there only being 200,000 copies made.
The new box set includes:
– Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game Of The Year Edition
– Collector’s Edition Content (map, ‘Making Of’ DVD with an added Skyrim trailer)
– A $10 Off Coupon (redeemable at any retailer, nationwide) for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
The collectors edition runs for $29.99. Those looking to pick this up, Overstock.com has available listings with the street date set for June 28.
I might buy this since I was meaning to rebuy Oblivion on PS3.
While they are at it, they should patch the PS3 version with some trophies… After getting the 2 platinum trophies on both the Fallout games, I want that challenge with Oblivion! Fallout 3 got patched, why not Oblivion?
