Shift 2: Unleashed’s car list released

7 Comments | posted

Electronic Arts has released the fully licensed list of vehicles gamers can expect to get their drive on with in the upcoming sequel to Need for Speed: Shift — Shift 2: Unleashed. As expected, there isn’t a laundry list of cars similar to the Forza or Gran Turismo franchises, but that ultimately comes down to the fact that we’re not being force fed 17 different variations of the same vehicle.

Overall, the list of vehicles is pretty eclectic and there should be at least one car for everyone to look forward to driving. I know for a fact our Australian and NZ forum members are going to be putting some hefty time into any racing game that delivers licensed vehicles, so we’ll see what they think down the stretch.

^ rofl @ above, typical noob european cars fan boy, just hope that they actually allow MORE / MORE comprehensive upgrades to the vehicle, rather than locking japanese cars at like around 450HP at max

  • Sighske

Sigh, typical 20 versions of porsche 911 lol, and only a honda civic Si other than the s2000 that’s a honda? are you even serious? any honda integras type R would be faster than that civic si piece of shit

  • Ugly1

[...]we’re not being force fed 17 different variations of the same vehicle.[...]

4 nearly the same BMW M3
4 nearly the same Porsche 911
but (exept Nissan) Way to few Japanese Car’s

    No Honda CRX
    No Civic Type R
    No Integra Type R

Sad but true – at Least there seems to be one(!) fast and beauty Jap Car “Acura/Honda NSX”

  • rico

    Dissapointing…
I need to see the following cars in here,
    Honda Integra Type R (DC5)
    Acura/Honda Integra Type R (DC2)
    92-95 Honda Civic hatchback (EG)
    Honda Prelude Type S
    06 Acura TL Type S
And that civic si on this list better be the 99-00 (em1) version cuz nobody really gives a shit about the newer ones thanx.
Since most likely I won’t see these cars on this game ill just have to wait for forza 4…

  • rico

Oh and that was just to name a few…
Just take a look at the forza 3 Honda/Acura list and you’ll see what everyone really wants
