Sony: No timeframe on when PSN services will be back online

The PlayStation Network has been down since Wednesday, April 20th due to an “external intrusion” to system and Qriocity services. According to Sony’s Patrick Seybold, after five days of looking into the issue, Sony still has no timeframe on when the services will go back online.

“I know you are waiting for additional information on when PlayStation Network and Qriocity services will be online,” wrote Seybold on the Official PlayStation Blog. “Unfortunately, I don’t have an update or timeframe to share at this point in time.”

“As we previously noted, this is a time intensive process and we’re working to get them back online quickly.”

“We’ll keep you updated with information as it becomes available. We once again thank you for your patience.”

It will be interesting to see if Sony provides users any kind of gifts for putting up with this ordeal, especially over Easter weekend. Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
